Dear Prospective Exhibitor:
The Fair Board of Directors would like to extend this invitation to you and hope that you will be a part of our Fair this year. This year our Fair begins on Thursday, September 13 through Sunday, September 16, 2007.
Commercial Exhibit Rental Rates are as follows: any combination of 10 X 10 @ $60.00,
(NO subletting will be permitted)
Electricity Rates: $50.00/110v (20 amp) outlet or $100.00/220v (25 amp) phase outlet.
If lessee wires into the fairs electric source or another vendors source,
lessee will be fined double the list rate and risk not being invited back.
Each vendor will be responsible for providing their own 125 heavy duty cable. If you need electricity, you MUST indicate this on the attached contract. There will be only limited space in the Home Economics Building so this space is at a premium and is available on a first come first serve basis. There will be plenty of space for outdoor booth space. You will need to furnish your own tables, tarps, tents, your equipment and any other cover you deem necessary to protect from sun and/or rain.
Two (2) Season passes will be issued to each vendor. Any additional gate passes must be purchased. All exhibitors must enter through Gate #3 (Front Gate) and wear their I.D. badges at all times while inside of the Fairgrounds. If any exhibitor contract is cancelled by the exhibitor thirty (30) days (by postmark) prior to the opening day of the Colorado County Fair, 50% refund will be issued. No refund will be issued if an Exhibitor cancels after that date.
Exhibitors may begin set-up on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. until dark (please do not plan to have products available until Thursday) or on Thursday beginning at 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. All vehicles must be through unpacking and out of the Fairgrounds 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. If you are unable to have your booth set-up on Thursday you will be permitted to set-up between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Once again, ALL VEHICLES must be out of the Fairground area and into the parking area NO LATER than 10:00 a.m. on Friday. No Exhibitor will be allowed to drive an ATV, Golf Cart or any other motorized vehicle on the fairgrounds. All vehicles are to park in the parking area after unpacking.
There will be security on duty at the Fairgrounds on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. The Fair will exercise due caution to safeguard your booth contents, but again you will need to stay with your booth until the gates are closing nightly.
All outside booths must remain open throughout the entire Fair on the following schedule:
Thursday 1:00 p.m. midnight Friday 10:00 a.m. midnight
Saturday 10:00 a.m. 1 a.m. on Sunday Sunday Noon 5:00 p.m.
All inside C.H. Building booths will following the C.H. schedule
Thursday 1:00 p.m. 11:00 p.m. Friday 10:00 a.m. 11:00 p.m.
Saturday 10:00 a.m. 11:00 p.m. Sunday Noon 5:00 p.m.
Schedule is subject to change due to the discretion of the Fair Association.
The Fair Association reminds all vendors that this is a family venue and reserves the right to demand removal of any inappropriate novelties, crafts, exhibit material, etc. Absolutely NO SILLY STRING or HELIUM or sale of TOY GUNS will be allowed!
Alcoholic Beverages Under NO circumstances will LESSEE sell or otherwise provide to any fair attendees or any other party, any alcoholic beverage. It is understood that beer and/or wine coolers are permitted to be sold ONLY by the LESSOR.
Giveaways If Lessee intends to give away products or merchandise to a winner to be determined by a lottery or drawing, the time and place of such drawing must be published in a prominent place within the leased area. Immediately after the determination of a winner the name and address of such winner will be submitted to Lessor. Lessor must pre-approve any such giveaways prior to the beginning of the lottery or drawing.
Season passes will be available for any of your friends and family at a reduced rate of $20.00 prior to Thursday. Day passes will be sold at the gate (Thursday Saturday at $10.00 and Sunday for $7.00). Students 6 - 12 years will be $3.00 daily and children 5 and under will be FREE.
We ask that you pay your total calculated fees at the time you submit your application. Applications are due by August 15th. We would like to thank you in advance for being a part of the Colorado County Fair.

The fair is not responsible for lost or stolen items. In order for you to participate in Colorado County Fair as a commercial exhibitor, the Fair will require you to have in effect, a general liability policy with $1,000,000.00 limits on liability. You must provide the Fair with a Certificate of Insurance naming the Colorado County Fair as an additional insured. If you do not have a liability policy of your own, the Fair can provide this coverage (short term) for you at a cost of $75.00.
